Book Club Leaders The 4th Grade Book Club Leaders are dedicated to sharing our love of reading with each other, as well as others in the community. Students have chosen books to read within the group in book clubs. In addition, students are working as leaders throughout the school to encourage reading in younger grades by volunteering as buddy readers. Book Club Leaders are also visiting younger classes and reading aloud to students.
Campus Beautification Leaders We demonstrate our leadership skills by taking ownership of the Butterfly Garden. We synergize and work to clean up the flowers, remove plants that have died or are overgrown. We are also proactive by cleaning up the trash that we find around the campus.
Environment Leaders Our mission is to use the 7 Habits to educate others on what they can do to keep animals and the environment healthy for future generations.
Science Leaders 4th Grade Science Leaders: We are using the 7 habits to explore, discover, experiment, and engineer. We begin with the end in mind by always having a goal and put first things first by making a list, creating a plan, or drawing a model. We synergize in our lab groups in order to brainstorm creative solutions and to complete our experiments successfully. Service Learning Project Leaders Students will complete service projects that will benefit the community, outside of TvE by synergizing and beginning with the end in mind. They will also help others in need. Such as: Pen pal with the military - animal rescue fundraiser, holiday cards to the military, collect items needed by others.
Technology Leaders We are using the 7 habits to explore, discover, experiment, and engineer. We synergize in our lab groups in order to brainstorm creative solutions and to complete our experiments successfully. Writing and Video Production Leaders A leadership club that will produce videos about responsibility around campus such as homework habits, using your agendas responsibly, recycling, taking care of pencils, keeping supplies and materials handy, packing your pencil pouch, learning habits and academic responsibility. Students will become leaders in writing. They will learn about all genres of writing and help others use the strategies they are learning in this group in their classrooms. Students will become leaders in presenting the 4th grade news, whether it be through writing or video broadcasting.
