Coding The Coding Enrichment Group provides opportunities for students to begin with the end in mind as they plan their coding project end result. Students build trust with one another by thinking win-win, as they synergize their efforts in successfully completing styles of coding new to them. Students are directing their own learning, being proactive, by completing a Google Form each session of what was accomplished and what he or she would like to do next. Students will demonstrate a game they created or a level of accomplishment within an already completed coding project.
Fishing Club In Fishing Club we are environmental leaders! We have to Be Proactive and Put First Things First when preparing to go fishing. We definitely Begin With the End in Mind when we gather our gear and prepare our fishing journals before heading out. We Synergize with each other while we are fishing, helping each other solve problems or complete tasks so it's a Win-Win for all. Most importantly, Fishing Club helps us Sharpen the Saw because it's relaxing and fun!
Free Draw/Doodling Doodle Club is all about letting students sharpen the saw and finding their artistic voice. The first half of the class is all about trying new things. Doodlers in Doodle Club learn about different styles of doodles, the benefits of doodling, and participate in guided drawing tutorials. The second half of the class is free choice. Doodlers can put their new skills to work or free draw.
Robotics Students synergize to design, build, and program their robot. They are using Habit 2 (Begin with the End in Mind) with their design and programming because their robot must be able to complete certain jobs.
