Run Club is a multi-grade level group, which holds 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade students. We learn to synergize as a group to encourage one another as we run. We know that running can help improve strength in our bodies and minds (Habit 7). Students lead our stretch time each week before running, and during running time, students challenge themselves to run farther, faster, and stronger than the month before. We also learn about running pace and technique to improve our running strength and stamina. This year, we will run the school-wide 5K and also hold a fund raiser lap-a-thon for a student chosen charity benefit.
